In this ever-changing society, the most powerful and enduring brands are built from the heart. They are real and sustainable. Be bold, stand out, but don’t force it. You can always tell when someone is trying to force feed you something that you have no particular interest in. Why do some feel the need to do so? Who knows… In the end people will choose something or someone they relate to, a product or a service that moves them and a company they want to support. You will gain yourself a long time partnership if you choose to be passionate about what you do, this means leaving no stone unturned.

Do all of the small details of your company reflect who you are? Are all of your profiles setup with the correct information or slogan? Do they all have the same branding including logo, colors, theme? These are questions you should be asking about. It isn’t about just being one social media or listed in a directory. Do you use that medium? Are you active on it? If not, don’t use it, if it doesn’t support your overall brand do not take part.

I have encountered many that were trying to keep up with trends, whether it be social media, fashion, business and in the end if the passion isn’t there it can be seen. Take hold of your brand, make sure every single point from top to bottom represents you, your ideas, that silent promise to your clients that you are overall… well. better. Don’t hide behind tricks and faulty tactics to get them on board, show them what sets you apart, if you don’t have a design budget create one! If you don’t have a marketing budget, spend the money anyway. All of it is investing in your overall progress and branding as a company.
